Vintage, Rare and Collectable Guitar Photography
Every guitar has its story: whether it is in the scratches, knocks and dings of a well-travelled gigging workhorse or in the customisation of the pick ups, bridge or neck in order to achieve that perfect tone. It may be in its provenance or proof of ownership which confirms its investment potential or it may simply be that the cheap Japanese Fender you bought in 1983 is never going to increase in value, just as surely as it is never going to stay in tune, but which you still get a blast out of playing anyway.
What I have attempted to do in this portfolio of images of rare, vintage and collectable guitars is to tell some of these stories visually and to allow the instruments' personalities to project out of the image.
