The photography of guitars has been my overriding interest. It is the subject about which I had fairly clear ideas of the types of image: their mood and atmosphere I was looking to achieve through the use of compositional devices and lighting. Nevertheless, I have still continued to photograph a wide variety of subjects, and increasingly find that I take the camera with me wherever I go as a matter of course. I continue to experiment and attempt to become more skilled in the craft of photography. The following images I consider much less polished than the 'Guitar' series although, oddly they may be better quality - I was using the EOS 450D by this time.
